TRIAC: The cheapest highway-ready electric whip
Apparently this joint can go 80mph. With that single wheel in the back, I’m not sure I’d be whippin’ it at 80. Found this at GoodCleanTech. Here’s their story…
We already know that the all-electric TRIAC, marketed by Green Vehicles, can go as fast as 80 mph and comes with a lithium-ion pack good for 5 years and 100 miles between charges. What’s new is the vehicle’s upcoming December delivery and its confirmed $22,995 sticker.TRIAC’s head designer, Ehab Youssef, says that the car’s price factor could potentially make it the cheapest highway-capable EV. Its nearest rival is the NmG - a rubber ducky-like trike with a top speed of 76 mph. Still, the 2 -passenger TRIAC is a better bargain, since the $30,000 NmG is a one-seater with a range of only 30 miles.
All Good.
